Frustration's Symphony
In every realm, wherever I may roam,
There are always those who foil and frustrate, stone by stone.
They remain unchanged, no matter where I go,
Leaving me to concede, it's my own self that must grow.
But this anger within, I can't simply release,
It's justified, it's valid, and it brings me no peace.
Reasonable, oh yes, it holds its own ground,
Suppressing this fire is a challenge so profound.
Incompetence thrives, yet criticism they reject,
When I speak my mind, they call it disrespect.
So I tell myself to bite my tongue, hold it tight,
But I wonder, does it show, this internal fight?
Does it flicker in my gaze, in the lines on my face,
The battle within, seeking an escape, a trace?
Or does it hide inside, a secret tightly sealed,
Yet seeping through the cracks, its presence revealed?
In this realm of frustration, unyielding and tough,
Change calls out to me, but anger plays rough.
Oh, the struggle to contain this fire burning bright,
For in this justified anger, I see my soul find its fight.
